University of Cambridge took the top spot in the Guardian University League Table 2012, moving up from second place last year and now ahead of Oxford (2nd) and St Andrews (3rd).
The University of East Anglia is ranked 18th out of 119 institutions in the UK, moving up a place from 19th last year. The subject tables put Drama at UEA 2nd and ahead of Warwick, York and Loughborough. American Studies
