Korean Universities are ranked highly in the 2011 QS Asian university rankings. The top 3 Korean universities are: Seoul National University (6th in Asia), Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (11th) and Pohang University of Science And Technology (12th).
A total of nine institutions in South Korea ranked among the Asian Top 50. Yonsei University moved up one spot to 18th and Korea
