University of Mauritius is the top ranked university in Mauritius, followed by Mauritius Institute of Education and University of Technology Mauritius, according to the Webometrics ranking of Top Colleges and Best Universities of Mauritius (July 2011).
The University of Mauritius (UoM) has been awarded the WTO Chair Programme along with 13 other Universities in a competitive selection process.
