Harvard University was ranked 1st among the best medical schools for "research", according to the 2014 edition of U.S. News Best Graduate Schools guidebook, followed by Stanford in 2nd place. In the "primary care" rankings, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC) was rated 1st in the nation.
